Breast Cancer Research Fundraising Poster
Early career poster design for the promotion of donation to support cancer research. A close friend had recently been diagnosed and I really wanted to push some of the typical imagery associated with breast cancer. My initial theming was less graphic, a sketched silhouette of a woman and a cheesy tagline. It just didn't satisfy me. So I started from the beginning and really worked the layout of the elements. Now seven years into my career, I may revisit this project again as a personal work when I make the time. It could be stronger but as a college junior, it's not a bad representation of my heart and my skill at 21.

First drafting that I did. It just didn't sing. And although the woman's silhouette was a striking image and may have a good use repurposed elsewhere, it wasn't the image that would say "remember me and donate."
