Walter Reed National Military Medical Center OMS logo
A commissioned work for the Navy and Army doctors at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

Imagery was requested to include a skull to represent the Oral and Maxilliofacial Surgery department at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. The primary need for the logo rebranding was to represent both Navy and Army doctors, removing previously Navy dominant imagery. The brand needed to be embroiderable and clearly read by patients and other staff. It was designed to be worn or printed, and Helvetica was selected as the typeface, due to its common accessibility,
so that the mark could be personalized with a name .
